This is unbelievable!
How low can Alex Tew go?

Here is who was able to get a refund yesterday (thus bringing the price fund down from 150,400 to 149,800):

1) Will Tew (Yes, Alex's brother!), owner of the company 3T Racing Ltd (http://www.3tracing.co.uk/about.php) which runs the website bskc.co.uk. 500 pixels

2) planetsicknessbag.com owned by Will King, "a 41 year old British guy who created a shaving brand called King of Shaves" who now wants to save the earth from global warming. His blog is here: http://www.planetsicknessbag.blogspot.com/. 200 pixels (but perhaps he got only $200 back out of $400)

In my opinion this amounts to a complete and total scam:

1) Alex Tew is not giving out refunds to advertisers and references the terms and conditions when he denies refunds.
No refunds means that the prize fund does not decrease.

2) Yet, Alex Tew's brother on Feb 23 decides that it's time to get back his money, and shamelessy takes $500 away from the prize fund; this is money that belonged to the future pixelotto winner.

What Phil has stated all along becomes ever so important in face of this latest outrageous development: you either allow refunds to all advertisers who ask for one, or you don't allow them to anyone.

Alex Tew has sinked to a new low with Scam a Lot. I think he might be starting to get into illegal territory with this one.

Bob,

It's looking pretty bad.

If Alex Tew is giving out refunds to his family (and those he sees fit), but refusing to refund others then that should encourage people to raise their voices and demand their money back.

I'm sure Will King has a lot of cash and could quite easily sue Mr Tew if he chose to.

Perhaps some sort of "Class Action" can be brought against Pixelotto Ltd and/or Alex Tew himself - by smaller merchants and advertisers who could not launch legal action on their own.

I am so glad I never advertised on MDHP or Pixelotto, Alex Tew is someone I certainly will avoid doing business with during my lifetime and will advise everybody I know to avoid him and his so-called "ventures".

In Business your reputation is everything, it's hard to build and easy to destroy.

It's staggering look how quickly Alex Tew has destroyed his reputation and his integrity.

What's almost as bad, is he doesn't have the balls to defend his actions, all the advertisers get is a impersonal, cut-and-pasted e-mail response - or silence.

If Tew did refund his brother, that could cause some serious problems for him as it could of course trigger some sort of legal action against him by all the other advertisers. And how ironic would it be if he had to use all of the money he made from Pixelotto and MDHP defending himself? But I guess if he loses all his money he can always fall back on that college degree he earned to get a job. Oh wait....that's right, his cocky ass thought he was above all that and didn't need a degree and dropped out of college. Good luck out there Alex!!

I have emailed Alex Tew, asking him to confirm that his brother's company did receive a refund.

It will be interesting to hear his reply.

"It will be interesting to hear his reply."

Good luck on trying to get a reply out of him.

No doubt he'll be up there in Tew Towers squirming as he tries to work out how he's going to get his cocky ass out of the diabolical mess that Pixelotto has become.

If he won't give refunds to unhappy customers but will to his brother than he deserves no less than an expensive law-suit and to be taken to the cleaners.

It will send out a message to any scam-artist that your assets will be taken if you screw people over.

Surely Mr.Tew can't simply ignore me? I am after all one of his highly valued customers.

If he ignores me, then he is essentially ignoring all of his Pixelotto customers is he not? :)

After reading some of these posts, I thought I would create a site to organize any advertisers that might be interested in a class action against Pixelotto. The site is not meant to compete with Pixelottoreport (which I link to from my site) and instead is just meant to centralize info on a possible class action. Check it out at PixelottoClassAction.com

it only proves that he is god damned fuck. nothing more :)

The wind is blowing against the Golden Boy. But Alex is smart, he'll think a way out of this mess.

BTW, most Terms and Conditions state that the site has the final say in all matters to stop disputes dragging on.

Also, Tew has only ever claimed to offer a link from his one page site which he has provided. He has not promised any minimum number of visitors.

Heck, I'm no lawyer, so I do not the legal aspects but suing anyone is hard especially when all Alex ever promised was a link which he provided!

I always thought that with a site link the PL site, the visitor traffic would be be close to spam traffic and basically useless. But, I'm no expert.

Good Luck Alex, and check out jobserve.com in case you need a job.

See TC's from PL:
"6.2 You agree to compensate Us for any claim or damages (including any legal fees in relation to such claim or damages) made by a third party in respect of any matter in relation to or arising from Your use of the Website including any breach or suspected breach of these Terms or Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. "

That's the issue with contracts. If you are "suspected" of breaching the TC's then you are liable. That's a bit like the famous Kruchten contract (google it - he landed himself a 12 month jail sentence), which said he could charge customers at his discretion (which he did).

What's the difference between a snake getting run over and a lawyer? The snake has skid marks in front it.

My guess is, that the Class Action would be brought because Alex Tew is seemingly giving refunds to some people (Family & Friends) but not to other advertisers and instead using his T&C's to cover his ass.

If proven to be correct, this could land Tew in serious hot water.

Whatever the outcome Tew's business name is forever tarnished.

Hey Alex Fan - you greasy little turd.

If PL is so great why hasn't there been any sales for over two weeks?

Now f**k off back up Alex Tews arrogant little arse you spawny twat.

Your second rate language depicts a
second rate brain. Pixelotto has many months left to run...We are not even March yet.....I ADVISE MORE ADVERTISERS TO GET ON BOARD THE PIXELOTTO TRAIN....NO REFUNDS SINCE IY SAYS NO REFUNDS READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR PERHAPS YOU CAN'T READ!!! Talk about IGNORANCE! :-)

I suspect our "Alex Fan" is a deliberate ruse to rile everyone here, and provoke comments - nothing more. As such, Alex Fan is not to be taken seriously.

Let's face it, nobody in their right mind could possibly be an "Alex Fan".

Phil, did Alex Tew reply to your email?

Phil said...

Unfortunately the high and mighty Mr.Tew didn't respond to a question from one of his advertisers (me).

So we are left to assume that his silence means that, yes, he did in fact refund his brother.
